Impact Measurement

With Cacao Source, we believe that every step should positively impact the communities who we work with.

Since 2021, we have been measuring the impact of our work. We believe that cacao has the potential to be a change maker. We’re recording and studying the results! Cacao positively effects human health, the community, and the forest. Since we initiated the project in 2019, Cacao Source has supported the financial security of hundreds of people, and the numbers keep growing.

Each purchase you make with Cacao Source directly benefits the communities who steward this medicine. Thank you for your ongoing support!

Give Back to the Farmers

Meet Your Farmer

We believe that the best way to know whether your product is organic and fair trade is to simply know your farmer. You can now meet the farmer behind each cacao block you enjoy! Simply scan the QR code to meet the hands that tend to the trees.

By comparison, convenient chocolate or cocoa is under priced. What does that mean? It does not reflect the true cost of growing food. Most often, it is the farmers who pay for this by being caught in poverty and/or cycles of debt. Meanwhile, organic labelling is often a reflection of green washing, which may get confusing when comes time to make ethical choices.

We create a valuable alternative by introducing you directly to the source of your cacao!

Give Back to the Farmers

It’s now possible to give back directly to the farmers who grow your cacao! With Cacao Source, we practice the culture of over-valuing the market price of cacao so that farmers can receive more abundance. Although, as we have centuries to make up for, it isn’t enough. We want the farmer’s community to have access to more opportunities. Most cacao farmers in the world are undervalued. This program offers the hard-working farmers and their communities the opportunity to receive the fair value that they deserve.
